One of my favorite things about LA in the summer time is all of the outdoor music opportunities. You’ve got the Hollywood Bowl, Barnsdall park, jazz night at LACMA, and tons of outdoor flea markets and fairs. But what to wear to all of these awesome outdoor activities? Personally, I don’t really care to sit in jeans for long periods of time, especially when you’re sitting on the ground. I prefer dresses that are long enough so you can cross your legs and not show anything.
This Elizabeth and James dress — one of my favorite brands — instantly caught my eye. I love anything striped (if you haven’t caught on by now) and the mix of gray and white felt fresh. This silhouette is always super flattering, a good fit and flare goes a long way for a woman’s figure!
Let’s talk about the accessories. I’ve been on a denim jacket kick for the past few weeks, and I’m liking it! I also just got this gorgeous Janessa Leone straw hat during my Bay Clubs weekend retreat and I have barely taken it off since. I wanted to stay away from black all together, so I chose these pointy tan, suede Zara espadrilles. Also, I have been using this brown Mulberry bag non-stop! I’m so happy I invested in this bag a few years ago 🙂 Shop my look below!
