Sundays in Silver lake are meant to be enjoyed in gorgeous, floaty dresses, don’t you think? I felt like such a girlie girl in this look – there’s something so feminine about a ruffle / chiffon combo. Typically I don’t love chiffon, but this dress felt fun and fresh.
If you didn’t know, my favorite color is blue. I love love love just about anything blue, and I’ve recently been favoring dusty blues, so this dress was an instant must. My legs are my body part of choice that I like to show off, so I welcome the warm weather so I can wear mini dresses like this. Also, he pretty see-through effect is a nice touch to the neckline, and the gathered ruffles on one side add a cool, asymmetrical element.
I’ve had a penchant for boater hats for quite sometime, and actually need to pick up a few more, sturdier options. I like them when they are really structured. The one I’m wearing is from Urban Outfitters and I got it a really long time ago, so I picked out some amazing options below that I think I’m going to buy for myself. How do you feel about the boater hat? Let me know below!
