NYFW Style Diary

Ah, NYFW. Such a whirlwind! This was my first time just going to go to fashion week and attend shows, instead of doing interviews backstage. I actually wrote a full breakdown of my NYFW agenda over on SweetyHigh.com, so make sure you head over there so you can read the play-by-play of everything I did!

Disclaimer: I brought so many cute pieces, but ended up not even wearing what I had planned, because A) it was so damn hot and B) I got blisters the first day and literally couldn’t get my feet into my shoes. Major fail. But, I still managed to put together a few cute looks that I wanted to share with you here on my blog so you can shop away! I just joined RewardStyle, and the gallery to shop shop is below! read more

Backstage With OPI at Fashion Week

Jeremy Scott! Rag & Bone! Rodarte! I got the chance to go backstage with OPI at New York Fashion Week this season and it was awesome. I had never been backstage at any of the 3 shows before, so it was exciting to check them out. It’s always fun to do something new, especially when you’ve been covering backstage at NYFW as long as I have. Here is a little diary I put together!

MY NAILS

RODARTE 1

Of course, I had to wear OPI for NYFW! I usually go for safe nudes, but I wanted to have something a bit more special this time, so I went with OPI gels in “A Good Man Darin Is Hard To Find.” read more

#NYFW Style Diary

New York Fashion Week is always such a blur each season. There is so much prep involved that when the week actually comes, it feels like it flies by. This season, I covered the shows backstage for POPSUGAR, and did backstage coverage for OPI. Overall, this season was fantastic and I got some awesome interviews. My favorites were Tommy Hilfiger, Jamie Chung, and our man-on-the-streets segment.

I’ve recently gotten into the blogger game, so I’m actually not used to taking pictures of myself each day. I tried to document my outfits along the way, but some days they just got lost in the shuffle. Below are my three favorite looks from the and I’ve gathered some product to shop so you can recreate them too! I’m putting together a NYFW vlog too, so stay tuned for that. read more

NYFW F/W 2015 Diary –– Day 1

Day 1:

I have been on a real navy kick lately, so I thought, what better way to kick off one of my favorite weeks of the year with my new go-to hue? Enter: every piece of navy I could get my hands on.

I started off my day with Noon by Noor, and I think I found the dress I want to wear next week to the Oscars –– finger’s crossed! I love the muted gray hue punctuated with those heavily embellished sleeves. After that, it was off to ICB by Prabal Gurung at The Glass Houses. I could live in every single look in this presentation. And the rug game was really strong, need all of these for my new place. read more
