I’m soaking up the last few weekends of summer and trying to get maximum mileage out of all my favorite warm weather staples. Funny enough, I got this dress almost a decade ago when I interned at Rebecca Taylor. I used to get a ton of free clothes from them (in lieu of getting paid–which I was totally OK with) and this dress was from that.

There’s something so sweet about eyelet, and so undeniably summery. I was inspired by an English tea party for this look, and wanted to create something that felt like I belonged in the English countryside with a delicious cup of jasmine tea. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that this hat pops up often. In order to make it feel fresh, I added on a silk blue scarf to cover up the usually black ribbon, and add an extra feminine touch. A great styling trick to update your go-to hat! read more

Hello Pretties! Something about this outfit make me feel tres sophisticated. But in the quirky Aunt sort of way–you know what I mean? The person in your life who is unapologetically odd, enjoys trying out bold accessories, and doesn’t shy away from something that’s a little off the beaten path.

I’m in the midst of a personal life + style evolution. Aesthetically for my blog, I’m in the process of redesigning it to be more user friendly and share more content here on the main page, allowing you to peruse more of my content that get’s lost after a week in my main feature slider. On a personal style note, I’m trying to foster my inner love for the weirder side of fashion, because I think that’s what sets me apart in this super saturated blogger industry. Sure, I love a Chanel boy bag and off-the-shoulder dresses from Revolve just as much as the next girl, but I’m looking to challenge myself to share innovative outfit inspiration that you can’t find elsewhere. read more

Sweet and simple. That’s the mantra I’ve been living by recently, especially when it comes to my wardrobe. My friend is a fantastic dress designer, and designed this gorgeous LWD creation that has quickly become a favorite of mine. You should definitely check out the rest of her dresses over on Lavinia and Co, I know you won’t be disappointed! It was the perfect choice for an afternoon in the Japanese gardens of Descanso.  read more

Pun clearly intended – how rad is this blazer? I saw it and knew I had to have it. I actually pulled it for a shoot at Refinery29 from one of my favorite showrooms, ICA, and have managed to wear it with just about everything since (stay tuned for it’s cameo in some R29 videos!) It’s by a brand called Amator, a super cool brand that has a variety of awesome blazers, separates, and cozy clothes. This particular jacket is from their FW 2016 collection, and everything else in the lookbook is so awesome, I want it all. Take a look at it hereyou won’t be disappointed! read more
