There are few fashion items that bring me as much joy as a great vintage find. This leopard coat is one that tops my list. I forget where I got it. I’ve had it for quite awhile, and wear it from time to time, usually with basics. But this go around, I wanted to make a statement. So, I paired it with a navy and teal striped shirt, flared jeans and a burgundy pom pom. Not going to lie–I kind of feel like Hugh Hefner in this get-up.

Velvet is clearly a huge fabric for fall and winter, so expect to see lots more coming up on my blog here shortly! And to shop this outfit, take a look at the gallery below. Don’t forget to leave me a comment! read more

My Favorite Online Vintage Stores Plaid Blazer with Vintage Silk Scarf and Sunglasses

MY FAVORITE ONLINE VINTAGE STORES

There’s nothing quite like snagging an awesome vintage piece. Usually I prefer to hunt in person, heading to places like thrift stores and flea markets to scoop up my vintage finds. However, a very inspiring and stylish woman that I know always mentions on Instagram that she vintage shops online. (Hint: her name is Christene Barberich and if you’re not following her on the ‘gram, you most definitely should.)

This inspired me to try a little online vintage shopping of my own, and what I found was delightful. It opened me up to a whole new way of shopping vintage, and now I have my favorite online vintage stores that I check weekly. I found an account on Instagram called vintage2049 and liked the look of her clothes, so I headed to her Etsy store and shopped away. This rad, plaid blazer was one of the three items I scored! I also bought this red, ruffle top from her Etsy store too. I’m always a bit weary to share my secrets, but this one was just too good to keep to myself. And since I’m in a sharing mood, here are a few other of my favorite online vintage stores. read more

Something about this top makes me feel like doing a shimmy! I’m sure by now you’ve noticed that I adore the ruffle trend, and I plan on wearing the heck out of them until I’m sick of ruffles.

This look is simple and elegant, and actually one of my favorites. You can shop this exact structured, ruffle top below from H&M for just $50! I paired it with my go-to AYR cropped skinnies so I could show off my newest obsession–these two tone beauties from Loeil.  They have tons of beautiful runway-inspired pieces for a great price, and the quality isn’t so shabby either! read more

I’m having a pink moment and I don’t care who knows it! Pink is easily one of the most important colors of the season, which is ironic since it’s usually reserved for warmer months. I have slowly been adding more pink pieces to my wardrobe, including this stunning topper. Personally, I am loving pretty pink coats, like this gorgeous textured one I snagged from H&M! You can shop this exact jacket below right now for $129, worth every penny.

I adore the way pink and red look together, so I made sure to punctuate this look with all red accessories. These shoes are proof that fashion is cyclic–they were one of the first purchases I made with some extra spending cash I had saved while interning at E! a decade ago! I usually don’t keep pieces for that long, but I always felt connected to these strappy ballet flats for some reason. I’m happy I hung on to them! read more

Just about everywhere you look these days, someone is in a slip dress. I have always been fond of this style, but honestly, never felt like I could pull it off. I love the barely there look of the Are You Am I dresses that come in crushed velvet and silk, but I need a little more coverage than that. I decided to slip into the style (see what I did there:) with a midi length, black, silk version. And, for a little more coverage, I layered a white tank underneath with ruffles on the front, which I let peek out above the V-neckline of the slip dress. read more
