My love affair with camel is still going strong! I recently picked up this suede, camel shirt at the Zara sale, and I am kind of obsessed. I’ve never been a big fan of the ’70s until now, because I’ve finally learned how to add in ’70s nods while staying true to my style. I’ve never been “boho,” but adding in little touches, like suede, flares, and scarves, is a nice way to feel like myself while also feeling like I’m on-trend.
Can I also take a minute to tell you guys how happy I am that A-line, button down denim skirts are cool again. I was a big denim skirt fan back in the day, and I’m pretty bummed I got rid of all my denim skirts because I could have totally re-worn them! Regardless, I went out and got myself this Zara button down skirt and I can’t seem to take it off.
This beautiful blue, patterned scarf around my neck is another from my mom’s arsenal. I’m SO glad she gave these to me! I kind of feel bare now-a-days leaving the house without some sort of neck accouterment. I pushed the boundaries a little with the shoes by pairing the looks with yellow, suede flatforms. The end result is quirky, I like it. And of course, these killer sunglasses that I get so many compliments on. Shop my look below!
