NYE might be over, but my feet don’t know the difference! I instantly fell in love with these disco ball shoes, and knew they’d be the perfect hangover helper to get me through these post-NYE days.
I have always had a penchant for fun footwear, and these seemed like a must-have in my wardrobe. I decided to style them with all black to really let them pop. I’ve been into the silk dress over jeans look recently, so I reached for this beautiful All Saints v-neck tunic that I always end up wearing three days in a row because it’s just that comfortable and versatile.
You guys know I’m all about neck scarves. I’ve worn this one once prior on my blog — it’s so unique but somehow manages to work with a lot of different outfits. I definitely have to give all the credit to my mom on the scarves, I’m so glad she kept them for me!
Another quick note: the booties are by a brand named Sara Melissa. She is a San Francisco based designer and all of her shoes and bags are hand-made, and 5% of all each purchase goes to the non-profit organization La F.E.M, which aims to help rural women in Sara’s home, war-torn country, Nicaragua. I’ve always been into community service (I was an Assisteen growing up and logged over 1,000+ hours at my local hospital) and I promised myself as one of my new year’s resolutions that I would get back into volunteering and, at the very least, supporting charities like this one. You can shop her designs right here and follow her on Instagram @saramelssa_designs.
