Finding a pair of good jeans is like finding your true love–hard to find but when you do, you better hold on to it! I’ll be frank, denim has never been easy for me. I’m petite in stature and have a small waist, but have developed a decidingly curvy derrière over the last few years. My new ASSets have been challenging for me to dress, mainly because I never had to think about it before.
I always opt for comfort and function over trends and being flattering, especially since most days I wear baggy sweats and work from my home office. But if I’m getting dressed for a lunch or an event, my trusty go-to denim are the Fawcett Jean from Reformation. They have a high-rise fit and are pretty rigid, which is great for pairing with blouses and tees. They also hug the body in all the right places and have a cropped silhouette to show off a good pair of shoes. I have them in the color Celtic and plan on adding the Pacific and Acadia colors to my collection soon too. My one suggestion is to go a size down, as they tend to stretch with wear.
