PRETTY PEACH MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Sweet as a Georgia peach! Peach makeup has been trending a lot lately thanks to brands like Too Faced’s Sweet Peach palette and Kylie Cosmetics’s Royal Peach palette. Personally, I adore a peachy makeup look, which is why I put together a quick and easy pretty peach makeup tutorial for you guys. For starters, I think peach super flattering on a variety of skin tones, ranging from super pale like me to dark. And because peach consists of soft, warm tones, it creates a really youthful glow that makes you look and feel fresh. Does anyone else remember that pretty peach blush by Benefit called CORALita? I was obsessed with using it when I was in college and this totally brings me back to those days.
I went for a soft-but-bold, monochromatic peach makeup look consisting of peach eyes, cheeks and lips. The beauty of this look is you really can get away with using one product. Below, my step-by-step peach makeup tutorial including products, which you can also shop in the gallery below.
STEP 1: FACE MAKEUP
Apply light coat of tinted moisturizer, I’m using Dr. Jart’s Radiance Beauty Balm. Then spot treat any under eye circles, blemishes, and red spots with concealer. I’m currently in love with RMS Beauty.
STEP 2: FILL-IN BROWS
Moderately fill in brows. Don’t over fill-in, but do fill-in enough for a youthful, bushy brow. I’m forever obsessed with e.l.f. cosmetics brow gel and powered in medium.
STEP 3:APPLY PEACH BLUSH + CONTOUR
Use peach blush on the apples of your cheeks, and also as your contour color underneath your cheek bone, jaw bone, and down the sides of your nose. Then, go over the contoured areas lightly with your usual contour powder. Layering these products creates a beautiful, soft, peachy glow. I’m using L’Oreal True Match blush in Precious Peach and ISH contour kit for my light contour.
STEP 4: PEACH SHADOW
Now for the fun part! Apply the same product that you used on your cheeks to your eyelids! I like the color to be super concentrated, so I applied it with a small, flat eyeshadow brush. Make sure to pull the shadow down for drop shadow for a soft but smoldering look.
STEP 5: PEACH LIPS
For the lips, start off by lining them with a lip liner that matches your lip color. Then, use your finger to apply peach blush to the lips. Coat with peach lip gloss for extra shine, I’m wearing Too Faced Creamy Peach Lip Oil in Peachsicle.
I like to complete every makeup look with a little rose water spray for a dewy, hydrated finish. What do you think of peach makeup tutorial? Let me know in the comments!
