DIY: Hanging Tree Vases

DIY: Hanging Vases

I recently celebrated my birthday and it was the first party I’ve thrown at my new home! It was a backyard garden party, and it definitely fit the bill. I wanted to create a bohemian ambiance full of good people, great music, and lots of nooks and seating places for my friends to converse.

My favorite touch? These adorable hanging vases I made that hung beautifully from the trees — and they literally only took me 5 minutes to make!

The Best of My POPSUGAR Now Outfits!

It is a bitter sweet day –– the TV show I have been hosting for the past year and 3 months is sadly coming to an end, POPSUGAR Now on Pop Tv (formerly TV Guide Network.) I have had such a blast co-hosting alongside Shenae Grimes-Beech and Becca Frucht, and of course, getting dolled up and dressed everyday was a perk too.

Hosting, writing and producing a daily entertainment TV show taught me so much about my trade –– I feel more equipped then ever before to go out there fresh and start something new. Of course, I will still be hosting and producing We Spy Style (an online show I actually created and still write every week,) but I’m excited, and very anxious to see what the future holds. read more

Lace and Nude Culottes

I have to admit, when I first saw this Keepsake the Label two piece, I didn’t want to try it on. Not because I didn’t like it, but frankly, I’m just not really a into lace. Especially the kind that has a nude underlay so it looks like you’re naked underneath. It just feels a bit too bare and unfinished for me.

I now bite my tongue because I fell in love with this crop top and high-waisted culotte combo the second I put it on. The tight, fitted top sucked me in and made my waist look small, which is crucial when wearing oversized, wide-leg, calf-grazing trousers. I’ve been really into the culotte trend so expect to see many more. I also loved how the nude lining almost matched my skin perfectly. Being really pale, I find that most neutral “nude” slips are far too dark and/or yellow and look quite sallow and sad against my pale pinky skin. I thought about wearing the pants with a solid black crop top –– then thought, why not just go for the full set. read more

My Oscar Diary

OMG, THE OSCARS! I just wrapped the busiest, and most exciting, part of the year –– Awards Season and Fashion Week! This year I spent many late Sunday nights working the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Grammys, and jet-set to NY in the midst of the madness to cover Fashion Week. But the pay off is, and always will be, the Oscars.

This year, I hosted an hour and a half long live show with one of my favorite co-hosts, Matthew Rodrigues, for We had an incredible spot –– perched up top on the press bridge, right next to Ross Matthews and Kelly Osbourne from E! read more

NYFW F/W 2015 Diary –– Day 1

Day 1:

I have been on a real navy kick lately, so I thought, what better way to kick off one of my favorite weeks of the year with my new go-to hue? Enter: every piece of navy I could get my hands on.

Massimo Dutti top and trousers; 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli bag; Balenciaga wallet; Mango coat

I started off my day with Noon by Noor, and I think I found the dress I want to wear next week to the Oscars –– finger’s crossed! I love the muted gray hue punctuated with those heavily embellished sleeves. After that, it was off to ICB by Prabal Gurung at The Glass Houses. I could live in every single look in this presentation. And the rug game was really strong, need all of these for my new place. read more
