Giving the good ‘ol chambray a break and opting for new ways to layer denim on denim. I’m really into transitional dressing at the moment because it inspires creativity within our closets, breathing new life and personality into pieces we wore all summer, or are about to wear all fall and winter. For me, fall ushers in a new wave of denim and layering. Raw edge denim is the look of the moment, and I took a frayed denim tank that I happily wore a few months ago and layered it on top of my current fave white button down from Uniqlo.
If you don’t have this button down, I highly suggest you shell out the money and buy one in every color. They are only $30 and are the absolute best quality for the price. And they air dry so nice and soft, which is a big deal for me!
My jeans are by Nobody denim and I adore them, they have been my faves for awhile and have yet to be dethroned. To keep the mantra of transitional dressing throughout the whole look, I wore summer’s flat espadrille sandals because it’s still nice enough to show off my pedicure.
