I’ve always fancied a leopard print. I know people say that leopard print is a classic (which it is, sort of,) but I definitely believe that leopard falls in-and-out of favor with the fashion set. Some seasons I reach for leopard accents everyday, others, not-so-much.
Since we’ve been seeing so much more fun fashion on the Spring runways, I thought it was time to venture beyond the leopard loafer… Enter: the leopard tank top!
Story time — I bought this leopard tank back in college about 9 years ago (omg) and I think I maybe wore it once. I paid a decent amount for it (it’s by Theory) so I always guilted myself into hanging onto it whenever I cleaned out my closet. I’ve been trying to wear items in my closet that don’t get as much air time to see if I still really like wearing them. This top passed the test!
I decided to layer it over a tight, black, Steve jobs turtleneck. I like how the pants and top almost feel like a onesie, with this pop of leopard in the middle to break it up. This is a fun styling trick if you’re bored with your work wardrobe and want to spice things up.
Same brown vintage bag and TOPSHOP heels from my last outfit – I have a tendency to wear things over and over again when I really like them!
