DIY: Hanging Tree Vases

DIY: Hanging Vases

I recently celebrated my birthday and it was the first party I’ve thrown at my new home! It was a backyard garden party, and it definitely fit the bill. I wanted to create a bohemian ambiance full of good people, great music, and lots of nooks and seating places for my friends to converse.

My favorite touch? These adorable hanging vases I made that hung beautifully from the trees — and they literally only took me 5 minutes to make!

Step 1: Purchase glasses vases and twine

I recommend: Ikea ENSIDIG glass vases ($1.99) and Home Depot natural twine ($3.98)

Step 2: Cut 4 feet of twine

Step 3: Fold in half

Step 4: Hold loop at the top of the vase, pull two loose ends through the loop and secure by tying the two loose ends together –– and you’re done!

I can’t get over how cute these look! They’re super versatile too. Hang them from your porch or even inside near a window or window sill.
