Tricks to Wearing Black Lipstick

For starters, this trend is not for the shy! It takes a lot of confidence to pull this off. I like to think that I have a ton of confidence, especially since I am an on-air host by trade and you kind of have to in this profession, but just a few seconds into the application of this basically black lip color, and I too started having doubts.

The vice? Too Faced’s Melted lip color in villain. I find the name of this color so incredibly perfect, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I kind of felt like the Hamburgler while rocking this shade (a villain who steals burgers is the best kind of villain, after all.) read more

Lace and Nude Culottes

I have to admit, when I first saw this Keepsake the Label two piece, I didn’t want to try it on. Not because I didn’t like it, but frankly, I’m just not really a into lace. Especially the kind that has a nude underlay so it looks like you’re naked underneath. It just feels a bit too bare and unfinished for me.

I now bite my tongue because I fell in love with this crop top and high-waisted culotte combo the second I put it on. I started off my day with Noon by Noor, and I think I found the dress I want to wear next week to the Oscars –– finger’s crossed! I love the muted gray hue punctuated with those heavily embellished sleeves. After that, it was off to ICB by Prabal Gurung at The Glass Houses. I could live in every single look in this presentation. And the rug game was really strong, need all of these for my new place. read more
