Jeremy Scott! Rag & Bone! Rodarte! I got the chance to go backstage with OPI at New York Fashion Week this season and it was awesome. I had never been backstage at any of the 3 shows before, so it was exciting to check them out. It’s always fun to do something new, especially when you’ve been covering backstage at NYFW as long as I have. Here is a little diary I put together!
Of course, I had to wear OPI for NYFW! I usually go for safe nudes, but I wanted to have something a bit more special this time, so I went with OPI gels in “A Good Man Darin Is Hard To Find.”
As you can imagine, the nails at Jeremy Scott were crazy. Miss Pop created these long, bold press on nailsfor all the models with a little cartoon gleam on each pinky. The nails came in electric rainbow shades and I even tried on a pair. I must say, I’m definitely not a long nails girl – they only lasted about an hour on me.
RAG & BONE
The gorgeous Christina Cardona of Trop Rouge was also backstage with OPI. I can’t wait to wear these matte, navy nails from the Rag and Bone show this winter. You know navy is my fav 🙂
The Rodarte show is probably my favorite runway / collection from this NYFW. The clothes are absolutely insane and I can’t wait to see which celebs wear them on the red carpet – I’m jealous! The nails were equally as gorgeous but definitely less fussy. A simple clean nail with silver and gold metallic strips at the top and bottom. All the models loved ’em, and I want to try this myself!
Which nail look is your favorite? Let me know below!
